Overview of Structure and Process of FZG Square Vacuum Dryer

The FZG square vacuum dryer is an intermittent static drying equipment, featuring a square sealed box structure. The main components include a stainless steel pressure-resistant chamber, multi-layer heating racks, a vacuum unit, heat supply pipelines, and a control unit. The arched ceiling inside the box prevents condensation water from dripping and contaminating the materials.
The FZG square vacuum dryer creates a negative pressure environment by extracting air from the chamber using a vacuum pump. At atmospheric pressure, water boils at 100°C, but under vacuum conditions, the boiling point can be reduced to 40–70°C. The heating rack is supplied with steam, hot water, or thermal oil to uniformly heat the materials spread on the drying trays via conduction. The moisture and organic solvents inside the materials vaporize at low temperatures and are discharged with the airflow. A matching condenser can recover volatile solvents, minimizing material loss and reducing exhaust emissions.
During the entire drying process, the material remains static without stirring, mechanical shearing, or friction, allowing the preservation of the original form of crystalline, flaky, or paste-like materials. It is suitable for processing heat-sensitive materials prone to decomposition and oxidation at high temperatures. The chamber can be pre-sterilized at high temperatures, ensuring no contamination during drying, maintaining a clean production environment that complies with GMP standards for the pharmaceutical industry.
The FZG square vacuum dryer features a square cavity with higher space utilization compared to cylindrical models. The number of drying racks and cabinet dimensions can be adjusted according to production capacity, making it suitable for processing materials such as pharmaceutical raw materials, herbal extracts, fine chemical powders, and food extracts. The equipment allows independent adjustment of temperature control, vacuum level, and drying duration, offering strong process adaptability, low operational thermal loss, and is primarily used in production processes with stringent requirements for product activity and purity.
